Brought together through their shared passion for design in 2024, J Balvin and creative director Mattias Gollin began work on what would become the MARK I.
The original pair, 3D printed by Gollin, was worn by Balvin in live shows, music videos, and private moments that sparked quiet waves of interest. What started as a personal project quickly drew attention from peers, leading the duo to release 100 pairs through close-knit seeding.
Those pieces were never sold, only gifted.
To bring the vision to life at scale, they partnered with NRGY by Revo, merging expressive design with cutting-edge lens technology. Each pair is authenticated and covertly marked by The Realest, accompanied by an OVD-sealed card. Packaging includes a collectible box, branded chain, NRGY lens cloth, and a QR-coded story insert.
There’s no set price. Instead, you’re invited to place an offer, an amount that reflects what the piece is worth to you. Each offer goes to the current owner, who decides whether to accept. It’s a more open way to access unreleased design, direct, intentional, and rooted in real demand.
